We protected civilian life, while destroying an Army embedded in these cities. We took out a military force as quickly as possible, and we put our lives at risk daily to protect Iraqi citizens.

Listen up Mr. Faggles...just because you don't agree with the war doesn't mean everyone participating is evil and heartless...I'm in the military as well, and while I may not be in Iraq (I'm in Japan), I know a lot of Marines and soldiers over there, and I have friends on ships in the Gulf...they are all wonderful people, and wouldn't take pleasure in shooting innocents. And I know them well enough that they would call attention to anyone who they know would. There are GOOD, DECENT people over there, sacrificing a lot to be there for the safety of others. Many have missed milestones in their childrens lives, such as the actual birth, to the first steps, to graduations, etc...just be glad that there are people like them on this earth, and that everyone is not as ignorant and unthankful as you.
I don't like that either, trust me. I can't think of anyone who does. There's a fine line between having your war face on and being idiotic, they crossed that line. I seriously doubt they knew women and children were in there though.
I wonder how many soldiers actually know they aren't really heroes, but rather just pawns in rich men's games of territorial acquisition and power hoarding.
I think that the american soilders enjoy killing innocent civilians, and that it has something to do with all the drugs & amphetamines the army force-feeds the troops. They are all a bunch of doped up pschopaths. Watch the crime rate go up when (if) they come back home.

Mr Baggles, you idiot. The only drug I took out here that was given to me by the Army was Doxycycline. It's used to help prevent malaria. We aren't on any other drugs. Pilots are the only ones, who on rare occasions are given amphs to help keep them awake on long flights.

That's no reason to respect someone. Every soldier who's ever fought on either side of any war has risked his life. That, in itself, doesn't make him a hero and it doesn't automatically make his cause honorable.
