where I work, we sell 20 to 1 Intel, the AMD's lost alot of customers do to unreliablity.

noone, if you spell 'rules' like that...
AMD is better for everything, I have AMD2800+ and it is way better than Intel 2.8. Plus it was much cheaper. So there.

From what I have heard Amd has faster processing capabilties . Which is good if your a gamer. But with the intel processer you get assured service. Also with the intel chipset you most likely will get intel extreme graphics. Yet if you are planning to play very demanding games such as The Sims 2 or Doom 3 I would suggest a Intel pentium 4 processer and a nvidia graphics card.
I've used AMD ever since I saw the horrific amount of flexure the badly designed Intel fans cause to the poor old motherboard, coupled with the fact that AMD don't push their product in your face with stupid adverts and lame jingles. God I hate that horrible, horrible Intel tune. Doo Dee Doo Deeee. GGRRRRR.
BTW, I've never had a single problem with either my 1900XP or my old 1600.
