WHO SHOULD BE THE DEMS' VP CANDIDATE?

Assuming Kerry receives the Dem's nomination...

And really think about it, too. I'll suggest a few and why.

* John Edwards -- he'd help win several Southern states, plus he has charisma and girls tell me he's good-looking. Also, since he's been in the news, he's a familiar name.

* Bob Graham -- Florida senator could help pick up 25 Electoral votes that could otherwise be lost a la 2000. That and he has Presidential aspirations like Edwards, and in both cases they could be on the fast track to the Presidency one day.

* Diane Feinstein -- California senator clinches full state of California as well as a heavy percentage of all-important female vote.

* Max Cleland -- Former Georgia senator, lost 3 limbs in Vietnam. Could have a stranglehold on the South, and how could you bash a gimp?

* Joe Biden -- Experienced Senator who has a plethora of knowledge about foreign policy as well as other serious issues.

* John Breaux -- Louisiana Democrat with a wealth of experience who can attract Southerners and moderates, a la Graham and Al Gore.

* Harry Reid -- One of the more respected, powerful, and experienced Senators. From Nevada, he could help swing votes from the uberconservative Prairie West region.

John Edwards
Bob Graham
Diane Feinstein
Max Cleland
Joe Biden
John Breaux
Harry Reid
E. Fletcher
Al Sharpton
SATAN
Hillary Clinton
Dick Durbin
Ralph Nader (*LMAO*)
a bluegummed porch monkey (balanced ticket)
Paris Hilton -- SEX SELLS
Paul Wellstone

If Kerry is nominee to have a chance at all he needs Edwards...but heres a sad fact, there is no way in hell a massachusets liberal will win in the south.

Kerry sould pick Joe Lieberman because he has "Joementum". He received the most votes in the last election, didn't he?

I kid, I kid. No, he's great... FOR ME TO POOP ON.

Right on Stewie. I refer to Joe "Mr.Personality". Maybe we could get Michael Dukakis out of retirement to add further excitement??

Good one. What's Walter Mondale doing these days? (I'm Stewie. Just too lazy to log out and back in.)

"If Kerry is nominee to have a chance at all he needs Edwards...but heres a sad fact, there is no way in hell a massachusets liberal will win in the south." You present a succinct but dead on analysis of the situation. Diane Feinstein would be the kiss of death in the South and Midwest. I'm not certain she's so universally popular in California either, as based on some news accounts I've read.

I KNOW, senator Wellstone DIED some months back, which is a shame of EPIC proportions. The man was smarter than Edwards, had JUST as much charm, and he GENUINELY CARED about the things he supported. Hell, if he were alive, I'd have him down as my presidential candidate!
