It's not about building a French speaking empire. If Quebec were still under French rule they would still be wanting independence! If all Quebecois are to go back to France- then all anglo-saxon americans, canadians, australians, and New Zealanders can go back to Britain!!! If Quebec wants to preserve their culture then they should vote 'oui' in the next referendum, it is clear that these anglophones don't have any respect for Quebecois. and if you don't like them- then let them seperate!
