Why is it so important that "sinners" be punished ... by men and in this timeframe? Isn't it understood that "no one escapes God's judgment?" If so, why this laserlike focus in helping the Almighty out ahead of time? Could it be that this intense desire has nothing to do with Religious Directives, but with the individuals' obsession with vengeance and their perception of Justice?

Proving something that doesn't exist is not the question. For example, I can hold a clear bottle in my hand and prove there is not a large metal ball inside it.
Your assertion, however, is that there is no God. This means here or even 4 billion lightyears from earth. Since you have never been there, how could you possibly know? You cannot prove God does not exist because you would have to be a god to do so. If you were omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent, you would defy your own argument.
