The 'G' option was going to be something more intelligent, but i hit enter by mistake and submitted the ballot with only that option. of course i tried to edit it again, but it said it was a duplicate poll!!
Thanks Guest_4a6b2 for your graphic ideas!!
I agree with Guest_4a6b2. I took down all my Matrix posteres and cancelled all my preorders for Matrix stuff after watching the second one.
When I first saw the Matrix, I was thoroughly entertained, and blown away by the concepts and special effects. After that, I realized that the films left me completely empty - since all but 1 or 2 of the characters were completely devoid of any emotional content. For a movie like this to be meaningful, I must be able to connect SOMEHOW to the characters. Why should I care that there are 24 levels of reality within a computerized virtual world, when everyons is a robot?
The Matrix was visually stunning but in terms of the plot it was a pile of poo. The first film was just a parody of Plato's allegory of the cave. which is in itself, in my opinion, completly rediculous. The second and third whilts undenighabely visually stunning were also giantic piles of poo. Their plots were totally rubbish and far too farfethced. and before anyone claims that i am just not intellecual enough to understand them thats not that case. i got it. and it was a bad idea that got made into a bad film. but hopefully it will set a standard interms of its special effects and the amount of thought that went into the script (which is comendable -but, unfortunately time wasted) and will inspire good things to come
Guest_1a5c8, It's not as good narrative wise, however it provides a spectacular finish to the trilogy!
