You know why they look like cardboard cutouts? 'Cause they are! (GASP!) A bit on the history of the show... Trey and Matt made a skit (I'll admit it was a crappy skit) completely out of construction paper back in 1992. This was the original South Park. It was from it that they based the South Park we know today. A South Park more similar to ours today was used as an online greeting card in about 1997 or so. It was so popular that Comedy Central gave Trey and Matt a license to make South Park a show. The show is now done almost entirely by computers, but it still has the cardboard cutout animation that the fans have grown attached to, and frankly, I couldn't imagine it done any other way. Yes, they make fun of everything, but that's because everything is so make-fun-able. Sometimes, you just gotta turn around and laugh at how silly we probably look from another person's point of view. Yes, they talk like retards, but that's what happens when you only have two voice actors for most of the characters. (Only exceptions are Isaac Hayes as Chef and Mary Kay Bergman as the female characters, but since she's dead now, someone else, forgot who, does the female voices. There's also a few guest characters who have someone other than Trey and Matt to do their voices.) Anyways... if you don't like South Park, once again... why are you on a South Park poll? And to whoever put that Kenny died and South Park went off the air... um, no, it's still continuing. I'll admit the recent episodes have sucked, but it's still on the air. And if you ask me, it was still funny even after he died for good, but it started to suck when they brought him back. Not to say that bringing him back made it less funny, though Kenny himself isn't so amusing to watch anymore now that he doesn't die.
