I think it is the caffeine in the chocolate, well .... along with the sugar and the fat.

Its a scientific fact that chocolate can be used as rocket fuel. In fact one bar of dairy milk will get a 1 monkey space ship to Jupiter and back.... I'm sure I read that somewhere
