COMMENTS:
I think it's hard to conceive in this day and age, but I believe his belief in his mission was so strong, which included teachings against unmarried sex, that he was celibate. Think about it, if you're willing to die for anything, you're taking it highly serious.
I'd have to go with celebate -- I'd guess that in terms of sexuality, he was just asexual.
He spent all his life in the company of men. Never had a girlfriend, and never fathered a child. It's pretty obvious he was GAY!
Jesus was against homosexuality. He was single and did not start any affairs at all.
It could be a possibility. Considering one of the biggest complaint/arguments by modern day Chrisitans concerning Gays, are issues with procreation. Why didn't Jesus follow in the foot steps of Adam and Eve? It could be a very real possibility, and there is nothing, or nobody, to prove that he wasn't.

While it's doubtful that Jesus was gay, it is clear that he never condemned homosexuality -in fact, there is NO mention of him addressing it in the ENTIRE bible. Which leads one to wonder why some extremist "Christians" seem to think it's the worst sin in the world. Don't you think Jesus would have at least mentioned it at some point in his life if it was such a huge deal?
oh, it's not the worst sin, it's just a sin. but you are right/wrong about jesus addressing it. He did tell us to keep our bodies free from immoral acts(which is basically homosexual acts)
Isn't any form of sexual contact, without the intention of procreating, considered immoral by the Bible? Or, are we back to, I can, but you can't, ideology?

oh, immorality is defined as, um, not using your parts for what they should be doing, heh. So sex is not forbidden.
Again, aren't those parts for procreation? What about premarital sex, doesn't the Bible condemn that as being immoral? So, God/Jesus thinks it's okay for you to pull out and blow your wad/seed on the sheets, or into a latex sheathing, and as long as it's a man with a woman it's not immoral? Can you do this as often, and with as many girls, as you want... Or is their a catch limit? What about masterbation? Is your hand on the list of approved places for you to put your penis? What about the mouth? What about anal sex, man and woman? Geez, all these rules! I was taught (Baptist) that any sexual contact pre marriage, non missionary position and without the intention to procreate was immoral. So, if you believe I'm immoral, the christian congregation I attended (in the past) would think you were immoral!

Some people say he survived the Crucifixion, married Mary Magdalene and lived a nice old age.
No, he was always Jesus H. Christ. Seriously though, he was heterosexual of course.
Since the actual definition of the word "celibate" is to abstain from marriage, obviously he was celibate. The correct word for abstention from sex is "chastity" Words mean things, people.
#1: The word is spelled "celibate", not "celebate". #2: "Celibate" only means that a person does not marry. If you are trying to say that Jesus did not have sex, the word you are looking for is "chaste".
Oops, I didn't read all the way down before commenting, I'm sorry. Thanks for making my point for me, Neal.
