COMMENTS:
If you legalise one drug, you being a 'slippery slope' towards more dangerous drugs being legalised. I dont have a problem with ppl using it, its just that over a long period of time it will effect the ideologies of society and become irrelevant.
1.anybody can get it anyway
2.It would make the financial gain from selling it a waste of time
3. No worse than alcohol
4.Put prison space to much better use.
it should be legal! its harmless when its not abused, alcohol can kill you, you can get alcohol poisoning and die if you drink too much, weed cant do that to you, its impossible to smoke so much that you die. i urge everyone that has never smoked to try it, its great. it also has many medicinal purposes. this country spends 7 billion dollars a year on prohibition, dont you think we could spend that money elsewhere? healthcare, education. legalization would also free up much needed space for real criminals in jail. i just did a research paper on this for college so i know alot about the prohibition, its too much to type here but you should hear how the laws got passed. its absurd that its still illegal.
