I never could understand this. Why do radio and TV programmers put on stuff that nobody watches or listens to on the day when many people don't have a lot to do? Is there a commandment in the Bible which says "Thou shalt watch stuff that sucks on the Holy Day" or something?

It is meant as a display of humility.
TV and radio stations are just stupid.

COMMENTS:
I know there are some exceptions (like the Simpsons), but I have found this to be the general trend, and I never could understand why.

My guess is they have a lot of left over stuff nobody wants to see, and since there's no more week, Sunday becomes a catch all for the junk.
