I was going to say Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf...Who would play Liz Taylors part? (remember when he called the blonde Monkey Nipples)? loved it!
That is a great, glass (or bottle) of wine movie. Played up a little more as a comedy, Bette Midler would be a hoot as Martha!

Well I am a big fan of films. But I can't seem to remember a single remake that wasn't worse than the original. (Maybe you can?) How on earth can you presume to "*re-make" classic movies? It's like saying you're going to re-make Michaelangelo's David, based on the body of The Rock A.K.A. Dwayne Johnson. If I were going to remake something, I'd start with sub-par stuff. Then I wouldn't be so embarrassed.

See - now there's an idea! Wouldn't it be cool if it had Anthony Hopkins, Meryl Streep, and Johnny Depp in it? It could be directed by Merchant Ivory...

I've always been interested to see how the M*A*S*H characters would differ if the movie took place in Vietnam era, as opposed to Korea.
