COMMENTS:
Some ballots make either no sense at all and are so completely random that people are angered, searching for logocal ballots, they rate them low. OR, they are so random and pointless that people find it funny... and they rate them good. It all depends on the person. Aparently, the hater rate ballots more.
PS....btw, were you thinking of jappy when you made this ballot?
I suppose those with good karma are mostly liberal or christian. I suggest posting fluffy feel good ballots, kiss @zz to get good karma, until my karma is high enough to vote up those with the controversial ballots. Form a karma sharing network, keep voting up each other's like-minded ballots for mutual positive karma
Dingleberry asked the same question.
lol... that last comment was from Guest084. as for karma, I have been monitoring how it's going by just going to user's page and looking at the ballots the person posted versus what karma they have. Unless they are new and have not been rated many times, the karma does seem to represent the person rather well. Point me to one person who is rated badly, who's making good ballots and not a flaming racist homophobe, and I will up their karma manually.

another thing, you don't have to kiss anybody's ass to have good karma, just look at Universal_president. He makes some good ballots (his Brit and Alex commercial ballot has been consistently the top 10 ballot on this site for weeks) and I almost kicked him off this site because he insulted me. Controversy is fine. Miscategorized, racist, and spam ballots are not.

Yeah, even I have an "Enlightened" rating, and I have gone out of my way to pull rugs out from under people and do things to piss them off. It's amazing: the more obnoxious I become, the higher my rating rises. Could I have a Howard Stern/Michael Savage sort of vibe happening? It defies rational analysis...
Big whoop - I got seven or eight user names, and NONE of them has even a start to a rating!
It's largely because most people grew up with negative reenforcement as the primary method of education. We're swift to punish and slow to praise. As the population moves toward more gold stars and fewer spankings this may change some. Still, if you go too far with the gold stars and overlook appropriate punishment you get problems too. Balance is essential.

A lot of the more controversial users have low karma simply because people dont agree with them, which is why the karma system should be got rid of

People who begin to question society, like asking why is is that blacks are allowed to call whites cracker, but whites cant call blacks the "N word", get bad karma from all the brainwashed, left wing morons.

I've been censored big time. Humor ballots don't show up on "Recent Votes", at least, mine don't. If no one can see your ballots then what the heck is the point for making them? LCD wants me to put them in humor just so no one can see them, that's not very fair at all. THAT is why I am not making humor ballots. If he fixed it so that ballots done under the topic HUMOR would show up when they are made then I wouldn't have any problem making them under that topic. Right now though, I can't make any polls, because it says my "Karma isn't high enough", which isn't true, I'm 6 levels away from not being able to post, but I'm being held to a double standard merely because I won't put my ballots in HUMOR. If it's fixed so that HUMOR ballots show up, I'll put my ballots there. But I guess it's too late for that, I can't post at all now.
By the way, get your taxes done people, it's the last day!!
depends wut u call the 'best polls'. freedom o' speech and questioning is fine, but of these use stupid, offending or xtremely racist language. if they control that a bit(and not mention ass and shit in evry sentence they) then really ppl mustn't rate them low jus' cuz they don't agree.
If you really think about it all of the funniest polls aren't very kind too the person they are poking fun at so i would think someone would e very offended by some of it but yet again its all fun
I'd hazard that a lot of people are voting according to whether they agree with the topic, rather than "Is it a Good Poll." It takes a lot to vote Good for a ballot that is well-done, but with which one disagrees. Still, more should try.
Of course, it might also have to do with how the perceived hypocrasy is approached. Sometimes a person may feel so strongly about a topic that he/she only does a FOX News version of Fair & Balanced when they create the ballot.
Because this website is sponsored by White Supremacist groups in Canada even though many of the users on this site aren't in such groups.
