Children were once tought that the tooth fairy was real, and later when they grew up they discovered this was a lie. They encountered this same realization and disappointment with regards to Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. They eventually realized that they once blindly believed in these things too simply because they were told they were real. Again, not until they grew up did they discover the truth. Some men and women believe in Angels because they have also been told they exist, and even though they have never seen one they still believe. I guess some people just never grow up.

Who created the mythical angels?
Some say they were formed from the Christian bible, and therefore work for the Christian god.
But I don't think so.
If such creatures did exist, how than they simply pluck their harps without a care in the world on white clouds and watch all the famine and hatred and sorrow on our earth without flinching? If they are 'working' for God, where is their project?
Angels are secretive, eerie characters that are not the images you place on top of your Christmas tree, they are darker and, no surprise, they haunt our kids at night when their mummys and daddys tell them that angels are gonna guard them as they sleep when they say grace...
