I'd brag with a million but I'd be "set" with 5 million. This is one of your better questions.
I agree, Dingle, a million would be cool even if it's not considered much nowadays
There's no specific amount. You could live nicely off of $30k/year in much of the US, but in New York City or San Fransisco, you'd be poor. I'd say being wealthy is having enough money so that you don't have to worry about having enough money.
A million dollars is more than enough if you're not a dumbass. Yearly interest from it would approach $100,000. You would never even have to touch the actual money.
To LCD, How the hell can I stop insulting everyone when the only person I have been insulting is DirtDog and Qui_Qui,*you call that everyone*and make good ballots, when I don't even have Karma on this name...raise my karma on this name then I can make some good ballots.*wink*...I give you a week to do it, if it does not change I'll make my friends raise it or log of on this name and use the other names, which I don't really like.
Don't listen to that Cake lover Nadia. Keep on posting those smutty remarks; anything that pisses Elsie Dee off is good.
$4.57, so I can go get a Whopper value meal from Burger King. Can I borrow five bucks from you? I mean, it's not technically borrowing, because I'm not going to repay you, but still, can I have that 5 bucks? Hmm, I'm going to go do a poll about this.
One Billion (not a U.S. Billion) should just about do the trick. n.b. a billion is 10 to the power of 12.
If we are talking "accumulated assets," $500K would probably suffice, as a minimum. If we are talking "annual income," then $100K would make one well off and $200K would welcome you into teh ranks of the wealthy (although only as a peon).
