If there was a 12 foot tall basketball player, wouldn't that totally destroy the NBA? I mean, who is going to be able to shoot the basketball when there is a giant freak standing directly in front of the basket with his arms right out blocking everything? Whoever this guy played for would be instant NBA champs.

No. Most likely, if someone were actually 12 foot tall, they would be severely hadicapped. I don't think he would be blocking a lot of shots from his wheelchair.
