I'm sorry but it has to be said. After seeing a news story about SARS, I nearly died. Apparently it was spread through "unsanitary" storage of animals in markets and such. I put unsanitary in quotes, because I wouldn't feel right about....ah hell...how would you describe cages upon filthy, disease ridden cages filled with every, and I mean EVERY, fucking critter you can think of? Including cats, dogs, weasels, rats, birds of every shape and size, and yes.....dead animals...all together in one toxic bacterial waste dump that they call a "market". Do these folk have any concept of sanitary protocal?

Well, it is a third world country and they have poor people. It doesnt mean every market is filthy and dirty. I buy fish every now and then from this chinese fish market and they have the freshest stuff in town. I honestly dont know why they believe in eating everything, I know it is true. everything goes on the menu but to say that's eveil sounds a bit ignorant on your part. We eat oysters, and I personaly like oysters and beer. To someone else that might be the last thing they would want to put in there mouth. But it is accepted in our cultures. this stuff is subjective realy. Maybe cats realy taste good, I just dont want to try it. Besides, all animals are realy "unsanitary" if you think about it. We have hard regulations as far as keeping our stocks healthy. Would you eat a chicken thaqt grew up in someones back yard? So I think the problem with china is they need to raise the standards on there livestock healthcare and sales.

oh my god. I had no idea that people would hate some race for the stuff they eat. I am Asian and I feel really sad about this. And I'm olnly 12! Sure, they eat stuff that's nasty, but they don't eat human babies.
