Like many people in 1988, I was briefly into Guns'n'Roses. They did a cowbell thing or two.
As a drummer, I sometimes think YEAH - I'll use a cowbell this time. But the HI-HAT is ALWAYS better.
I would like to use this opportunity to apologize for insisting that Christopher Walken is gay. I don't know this for a fact, and it may be untrue. I just thought he seemed that way, especially because he has a habit of dancing for no apparent reason.
re: Guns 'n' Roses, when I said a cowbell thing or two, the whole of 'Appetite For Destruction' was a cowbell-lover's dream come true. I think so, anyway - I haven't heard it for a long time but that's how I remember it.
