Because it causes all the other problems. Not that all people who live in poverty are bad, but it's just better all around when people don't live in poverty.
Some people are genetically inferior and thus are unable to be productive citizens. Evolution will play out.
Interesting assessment Cough, however, who are the genetically inferior people are you referring to exactly? The point is there are many societal ills that were created by people...genetic simply has nothing to do with the creation of those ills. However, I think your attempt to inflame the readers of this ballot is non-productive and a waste of everyones time - :) just a thought and of course my opinion for what it is worth.

But of course you know all there is to know regarding genetic inferiority and I must say, you demonstrated that theory quite well through your empirical comment regarding the matter ~ One should always, beware of those whom profess that generally behavior is attributed to genetics as it relates to whether a person is and/or can be a productive member of society without taking environment and lack of opportunity into consideration. Actually genetics play a major role in the developement of human genotypes of course, which affect personality treats and mental aptitude. No amount of politically correct utopian bs will negate this fact. Or you could look at it as Barbara_Baby_Cakes does, she believes all of societie's ills are caused by the white man. Which theory do you think holds more weight... as for the genetically inferior people, the current president of the United States is one example.

No, I never stated that the social ills in this world were created primarily by the WHITE man as you put it...You see,I am a WHITE man :-0 oops! your bag huh? Now, think and say what you will regarding this matter. However, as stated by Tommo, give us the facts as you seem to eat, chew and receive them as they fall from out of your backside, and allow this Whitey to take a glimpse at those facts. Also, as far as your statement regarding YOUR President being a member of the group you deemed genetically inferior, tell us all something we did not know and not only inferior genetically, but also, socially, intellectually, cognitively, politically, and his fine/gross motor skills are waaaaaaaaaay off the charts - Arrivederci!

K-12 education in the United States is a mockery. If any of you liberals presume to care about poverty, racism, sexism, illiteracy, drug abuse, crime and unemployment you would recognize that all of these issues can be addressed by completely dismantling the public school system. Why don't we offer parents school choice in private enterprise elementary schools unburdened by the selfish concerns of local bureaucratic school boards and teacher unions? Tax dollars can be refunded to parents and used in the form of choice. You want your kid to go to the best schools? Prove it with your cash. Schools don't need to be warehouses of misinformation, violence and bureaucratic nonsense. Schools can be well run, fiscally disciplined, specialized institutions with independent missions to preserve the success of our country.

First, the geneotypes have no bearing on the matter. That is the genetic detail, pertinent only on the genetic level. You are referring to the phenotype -- the physical manifestation of genotype. So far, the link between genetic phenotype and behavior and mental aptitude. Environmental factors appear to play at least as large a role, if not greater.
The assertion that genetics (usually code for race) is a factor in how productive to society a person is has been considered suspect by the legitimate scientific community, Bell Curve assertions not withstanding.
