If you're like most of us, a lot of the stuff in your parents' music collection made you cringe as a little kid. But was there any song or album in that collection that you actually LIKED at the time (when you were a little kid)?

Maggie May - Rod Stewart
Keep On Smilin - Wet Willie
All Things Must Pass - George Harrison
Turn of the Friendly Card-Alan Parsons Project
Tie a Yellow Ribbon..Tony Orlando and Dawn

COMMENTS:
My mother had a complation album called "progressive heavies" that had some early Bee Gee's tunes, some Traffic, Canned Heat, and The Bonzo Dog Do Dah band! One of the only GOOD records in my mothers collection. I think the other one being The Hollies greatest hits. (Stop, stop, stop & I'm Alive being my favorates) All the rest was crappy shit like The Beatles, James Taylor, Gino Vanilli, and ERIC CLAPTON! (ugh!)

My dad forced me once to listen to a Barry Manilow 8-track over and over all the way from Amarillo to Dallas. 'Copacabana' and 'Miracle' are actually pretty catchy tunes.
