God desires us to have personal relationship with Him. As a Christian, I 'know' that nowhere in the Bible Has any of the prophets, disciples, apostles, nor Jesus taught the believers to 'join' an organized group for us to be 'saved', ever! Most organized groups have set up traditions that are against God's Word.
Jesus made it clear in Mark chapter 7:
Jesus replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men. You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men.' And he said to them: 'You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!... 'Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.' "
i'm sure when the "church" was 1st started after Christ's death, it's intentions were purer,over time man got his hands on it and ruined it.
Probably the single biggest reason we never hear from him.
