YES. It was an awkward time for me. During those years, I had to transition a couple of times between England and America. I always had the wrong accent, and as soon as I would make some friends it was time to move again! One thing I've kept is my English accent - I got sick of changing it.

Some f***ing idiots in year 9 or something pushed me into a bush once. And that's about it so far.
no...its astonishing but after going through the extreme hell and deep depression of middle school, im now popular in high school

Yeah, I had a few people that gave me a hard time. I was the smallest guy on the football team and of course the biggest guys liked to mess with me, Brave Guys eh? I remember who all of them are and I will have my revenge. One of them actually broke my nose, taps me on the shoulder at a party, I turned around and WHAM, whata pussy. I feel bad for his 65 T-Bird!
There was just the one time, by some muscle-headed football player. I got rid of him with a few copies of the "Death Merchant" novels by Joseph Rosenberger. For those of you so unlucky as to never have had the pleasure, think James Bond withOUT the sophisication, gadgets and women, the kill quotient amped up to near-comic levels, and more humor than a Mad TV skit tossed in. Imagine seeing someone sitting on their own in school, reading a book with "Death Merchant" on the cover in BLOOD-RED letters and laughing their ASS off. Would YOU go near that person?
it took a long time to learn to stand up for myself. now people who f--k with me learn the hard way it's a bad idea.
I started middle school during de-segregation. Since my family lived in a segregated housing project (all white) the black kids assumed all the kids from my area hated blacks. Or maybe their notion that 'all white people are rich' was crushed so they were pissed--I don't know I just got pounded a lot. How'd I deal with it? Quit high school as soon as I could.

No, but I was --in Jr. High. I tried to ignore it but the students 'ran' the school then. I should have tried to get a transfer.
