The American army uses computer simulations based on the Doom engine. Apparently it is easier to shoot a real person after practicing with computer people.

video games are only another way of dumbing down the brain.It probably has the effect of making someone sleepy after awhile like a computer.Thats what it did to me at least.
Television is different though.The movie Taxi Driver shows how TV can directly make a pissed person put his boot thru the screen.
Most violence is simply because of the brutal cult abduction and mind control procedure of the bureacratic colonialist state and the archetypal "slaying and sacrifice" of our true home and families and thus "True Self"

Cretin slap has a valid point. The US Airforce has (admitted) found that video game freaks make the best fighter pilots, especially when it comes to using the new high-tech electronics of today's modern fighter planes, which are not unlike the video games played on home entertainment games.

But 22eee, the aspect of what you are saying is akin to the premise of the ballot questiion. It could very well be part of the responsibility of parents to not allow their children to be repeatedly playing certain video games that project solving conflict, disagreement and arguement through violent means. The children will obviously become desensitized to the violence over time. When faced with real conflict and altercations in the real world they may have no problem in using violence as a means to settle disputes.
