Fianally a voice of reason. Thank you Jappy Thank you!
Bush had no ideological reason to go to war but has endangered the West, but at least he kept up with Dad. The man is a fucking idiot and only an American could see him differently.
You're right. It's ludicrous. Hitler actually had a plan.
Of course bush is hitler. Haven't you noticed how people are terrified of speaking out against him lest they be dragged off to the death camps? All criticism of bush in the media has ceased, and politcal opponents and undesirables are being massacred by the tens of millions. Just last week kerry 'disapeared' in the night for having the audacity of openly opposing the regime. Oh wait, none of that happened, nevermind. I guess those protestors are idiots.
the liberals are weaklings and idiots and stand for everything erong eith the world today. they should join al-queda and kill US troops while they're at it. (hopefully they would, so they could get their asses killed and spare us their shit). a question for you liberals: why are you such fucking mis-guided idiots? haven't you seen what your stupid ideals have done to the US and to other countries? morons, go back to europe where you can stink along with the rest of your liberal in-bred ilk!
Bush is lying, my freind. He is not a man of God. He is hiding behind the church. He is a heretic, if anything. If you truly are a follower of Christ, do not be decieved by the dubious practices of G.W. Bush Jr. or his family.
Bush cannot be compared to Hitler. NOBODY can be compared to Hitler.
I think that Bill Maher summed it up quite nicely on Larry King, 6-2-04 ... If you missed it, it's a must see! I don't think people are comparing Bush to Hitlers atrocities of world war II, but to Hitlers manipulative and self serving agenda at anyones expense! Besides, who knows, we've only seen the tip of the ice berg to what this spoiled, simple minded, unworldly profiteering demon has done, but since he's tasted blood, where could it lead? Are these protesters saving us from a bigger picture?

That is probably a bit of hyperbole, there, granted. And yet, with the Administration's approach to the Geneva Convention, enemy combatants, secret detention, prison abuses, pre-emptive war, etc. ... I find it hard to be sympathetic.
perhaps rather than discounting out of hand, it would be useful for Bush supporters to evaluate and if there are causes for concern that may have sparked that.
They are scared of real people getting on the street in large numbers. That is how the Venezuelans helped defeat the American supported coup. They got on the streets and surrounded the presidential palace. That's why protesters are caged in their Free Speech Zones. This current crop of fucking fascists really know their Orwellian language.
Bush like Hitler? Well, if he acts like a fascist neo-nazi massmurderer who orders the deaths of thousands of civilians and cares not a damn for International Law, then the shoe fits.
It's this kind of insane hyperbole that alienates "Middle America," i.e., the Midwest, far West, and South, which would like to think the best of its President, and that same shrill language will probably lead to Kerry's defeat in November. There are civil methods of discussing what one think's wrong with the Bush method of international politics and domestic policies, but the Move On crowd and the street protestors, while they play very well in Seattle or San Francisco, mostly just disgust tens of millions more who hold a big chunk of the electoral college votes. It's this same cathartic but useless Third Reich imagery that will insure marginalization politically, even when tens of millions might be brought over to your way of thinking via more subtle discourse. Live and learn, live and learn.
Good point Daughter Of Khitai. Being fearless and calling a spade a spade is a good thing. Just as Hitler's little adventure created The United Nations so Bush's blundering viciousness will advance the cause of World Government.
Bush is no Hitler! There are two HUGE differences between them: 1. Hitler was a eloquent and articulate public speaker, whereas Bush can barely put a coherent sentence together. 2. Hitler was elected.
Bush is no Hitler! There are two HUGE differences between them: 1. Hitler was a eloquent and articulate public speaker, whereas Bush can barely put a coherent sentence together. 2. Hitler was elected. This is why no one takes the peace movement serious. If someone actually understood the happenings they would make a better point than that non-sense. Bush is no hitler, but he's also no Ghandi.
This is why no one takes the peace movement serious. -Pardon? Bush is no hitler but he's also no Ghandi. -Woah! Steady, on there.
Bush is no hitler, but he's also no Ghandi. by doen5167 on Oct 07, 2004 You're right. Bush is a lot dumber than Hitler, although he still acts like a fascist warmonger. Of course, he's nothing like Ghandi - Bush is a pro-war puppet with a low IQ with corrupt corporate friends who are both greedy and shortsighted.
"It's this kind of insane hyperbole that alienates "Middle America," i.e., the Midwest, far West, and South, which would like to think the best of its President, and that same shrill language will probably lead to Kerry's defeat in November." I said this on 9/23/04, and things came to pass exactly as I'd predicted. Now, will you lefties listen to the voice of reason and toss out the Move On and Ted Rall factions from your midst? Otherwise, unless Bush manages to completely and utterly wreck the U.S. economy during the next 4 years (and I'm not ruling that out), you may have, oh, Condoleeza Rice in 2008. It will be kind of funny watching the mental acrobatics of liberals convincing themselves they don't really want to support an African-American woman for the U.S. Presidency, however. Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle with you.
Good guess, Felix. There was a probability of 1:2 of getting the election result right. You're a genius.
PEACE MOVEMENT?!? Hahaha! How is blowing Iraq into smithereenes a PEACE movement?
Cretin (aptly named) blathered: "Good guess, Felix. There was a probability of 1:2 of getting the election result right. You're a genius." Uhh, Einstein, have you checked out the demographic background for those electoral figures? Kerry didn't carry a single state in the U.S. South, Heartland Midwest, or most of the West, besides the West Coast. It's EXACTLY what I predicted. As a matter of fact, he wasn't even close in the popular vote in many of these states. Lie down now, you're overheating your brain.
