TOBACCO VERSUS THE CAR

[+] ballot by steelhamster

I dont smoke, however, I am constantly dismayed at the more and more legislation being made all over the west, banning smoking in public places. The usual argument is 'passive smoking' I am not contesting that this indeed happens, but how do you justify banning smoking, when cars spew more carbon monoxide and other nasty gasses than any one smoker could inflict in a lifetime. So my question is, is the banning of smoking justified given that many non smokers pollute the air with their cars?

Yes, ban smoking
No, dont ban smoking
Ban smoking and cars
Ban cars only
Allow both
