The usual argument is 'passive smoking' I am not contesting that this indeed happens, but how do you justify banning smoking, when cars spew more carbon monoxide and other nasty gasses than any one smoker could inflict in a lifetime. So my question is, is the banning of smoking justified given that many non smokers pollute the air with their cars?
