DOES IT BOTHER YOU TO GO INTO A PET STORE AND SEE BIRDS AND OTHER ANIMALS IN CRAMPED CAGES?

I have to go to pet shops to get food for my crew. Most of the time I make a bee-line for the food aisle because the sight of those poor trapped creatures, usually in dirty, noisy conditions, depresses me. I also hate the way they keep the bettas (Siamese Fighting Fish) in tiny, filthy cups they can't even turn around in.

Anyone want to share their thoughts?

Yes. They should improve conditions, and some species shouldn't be caged.
No. They are just animals; and anyway, what can I do?
Yes, I want to be in there with them, NAKED
Who cares

yes, I have many pets, I suppose because I buy them for the kids I am contributing to the problem, but they are usually bread locally and dont know any different. All the pets that we have are loved & well taken care of

Most small animals don't have the morrals to care about their living conditions. All they're thinking is "feed me!"

Yes walking into pet stores really depresses me sometimes. I just wish I had enough money to buy them all, build a giant pen, and let them play all they want freely. That's also why I am so against going to zoos and circuses. People treat animals cruelly sometimes and it makes me really mad.

Disgusting water bottles ballsack? I used to have a bird who shit in his water and pissed in his food. Who do you think cares about their living conditions more, a bird or a human? They lack the morals to care about that petty crap. I'll say it again. All they're thinking is FEED ME BITCH!!! And we do it

ABC, you are giving them a good life by adopting them.

One thing I can't stand...people who buy dogs, put them in the backyard and ignore them. A dog is a pack animal - they need to be a part of the family they live with. They are not meant to be alone. Unless the owner has an acreage or something for the dog to roam around in (and possibly another dog for companionship), the dog should be allowed to live inside.
