COMMENTS:
Same as every year. Cover myself in dog excrement and run around the city jumping on cars. I dont know why D-Day makes me do that... (by the way i dont mean to be disrespectful to any D-Day vetrans or any people that like to roll around in dog shit.

ABC, I think what you meant to ask was "How are you going to remember?" I don't think that "celebrate" was really the right word for this kind of thing.

I'm going to remember by taking a moment of silence to remember my great-grandfather, who lost both legs to D-Day and later died of his injuries.

No offence eccentricities, I will take a moment of silence as well, my grandfather is a WW2 vet , A conscripted nazi vet will be serving wings at my stanley cup party on saturday, funny how people understand that war is started by crazy people, and even though they fought on opposite sides they get along fine 60 years later.

I would like to thank the American, Canadian and the British Soldiers who all fell at the Normandy beaches. I believe its a bit disengenuous to say one nation 'sacrificed' themselves.

Lets all take a moment to thank all those men who died on UTAH, OMAHA, GOLD, JUNO and SWORD beaches.

My grandfather, Major Dr. Robert Roland Hughes, ran the field hostpital for the whole allied landing , and my other grandad went in with the first wave in a DD sherman. cool. i never knew this until a couple of weeks ago. before that, i thought that Colin McConaughey and Tom Hanks defeated the entire Third Reich single handedly.
