I think it's a combination of both factors.
Oh, we always do, if you squeeze hard enough in the right place. ;o)
I cry when i see da purdy butterflys. *sniff, sniff* Aint life beautiful?
They just have less reason to cry i guess. Its really sweet when a guy can cry in front of a girl though. Awww!!
I don't think it's social pressure, because it's not like we struggle to hold 'em back. They just don't come. A big reason is that we don't ride the hormonal rollercoaster that women have to. I blame Robert Smith. He told us that 'Boys don't cry,' and I think that made us ultra-macho.
guys do cry i am sure of it but they just don't like to show it as much as girls
Well, I admit that occasionally I do cry, since us guys aren't emotionless robots. If I lose a penny then... j/k. But if something really bad happens, or if someone I know and love moves away or decides not to like me anymore, I get quite sad.
Guys cry, they are selective when, where, how, what, why and how, excuse me, :(....
Awwwww, don't cry. We love you! :)
supposable makes a good point: I don't repress tears, it just isn't a natural response. I'd suggest social conditioning rather than pressure. As an adult, I tend to focus on what will help a situation. Crying doesn't do anything constructive. Of course, neither does cursing, but that seems to come more naturally. ;-) OK
Doctor_fonzarelly's emotional speech about butterflies is quite moving. Sniff.
because women cry enough for all of us
why don't ppl read the list and stop adding the same answers?
