If I have lots of cash I look forward to it, If I don't, then I dread it.

Like the old song says: "It's the most horrible time of the year." Isn't that how it goes?

Yes, the weather's a bitch, and the traffic's a nightmare because now all Christmas really seems to be is a marketing gimmick. I mean, it's a Christian holiday, but so many people in church tell me Jesus wasn't even born in December! So, it's just a shopping holiday, really. And just for the record, the music makes me want to spew. Give me Halloween anyday.
RIGHT ON, RK!

Both. Gifts are easy anymore with the Internet. Everything is ordered shipped and delivered. I stopped trying to please everyone years ago and started buying gift baskets like gourmet foods, wine and Harry and Davids. It's made my life simpler and everyone seems to really like the perishables better than something they have to display or wear to appease a gift bearer with bad taste!

You know that this last Christmas, I read in the paper that some lady down in Florida didn't like her gift, and she beat the gift bearer with a tree? I mean, there's your love for ya...
i absolutely DREAD it.
I look forward to it because I get my Christmas and Birthday gifts all at once!
