No, I don't believe that physical variety is the sole (or even major) reason for infidelity. Now, a morphing Stepford Wife might, but ... why reward shallowness?
men don't cheat because they need variety. they cheat because they either don't have a good relationship with their wives or they don't have any respect for women. appearance has nothing to do with it.
