No, I did not know this. I just wish it hadn't turned into a contest.
Exactly jenny17 you hit the nail on the head. Saddam is a bad man. He killed lots of people. You are 100% correct... There's just one thing you forgot to mention. The fact is that the U.S. embraced Saddam Hussein in the early 1980's, including the renewal of diplomatic relations that had been suspended since 1967. During this period of renewed U.S. support for Saddam, he had invaded his neighbor (Iran), had long-range nuclear aspirations that would "probably" include "an eventual nuclear weapon capability," harbored known terrorists in Baghdad, abused the human rights of his citizens, and possessed and used chemical weapons on Iranians and his own people. The U.S. response was to renew ties, to provide intelligence and aid to ensure Iraq would not be defeated by Iran, and to send a high-level presidential envoy named Donald Rumsfeld to shake hands with Saddam in 1983. ... So why did we support this man who kills hundreds of people, then start a war against this man which killed hundreds of people. Kind of ironic don't you think?
Nice fact finding Jenny17.
Hey that's not fair... Saddam had decades to work up to those kind of numbers... GW's only had a few years, give him time, he'll get there. GW's just toying with the lives using torture as foreplay to his climactic rush to break the record!

I bet nobody thought Dubya could break the record of felons executed while he was Texas Governor. But he did! Go Dubya. Go Dubya. Go Dubya.
Yeah totally I may not aggree with the reasons for the war but you cant argue with the fact that Saddam was a evil man and getting rid of him was a good thing.

Ten thousand civilians have been 'liberated' of their lives in Iraq since the invasion. Time to do some more research, kiddo.
what's wrong with killing felons?
