Hmmm ... another deep one requiring considered thought ... fortunately, I have my coffee nearby! I *almost* said Yes ... until I considered the part *You can recognize them." Speaking from experience as a former NeoConservative, once I recognized that I did have biases and acknowledged that recognition ... I found that to be an important step in achieving a different perspective/ framework. From there, I found that previously held prejudices just didn't make sense anymore. Now, one may argue that I changed my experience, and thus the framework in which I was bound; but I'd say that if one can really recognize that they have prejudices, it would induce cognitive dissonance to keep them.
Yes... and ones ability to understand emotion or prejudice is only as deep as ones experiences!

I think you can recognize but never completely free youself of what's been instilled in you since birth or by experience. You know it's wrong, you fight against it but it creeps back on you and you have to fight it back down.
Yes, we all have our prejudices, learned in our youth, but we are not robots; what we learn can be unlearned, albeit with difficulty.
Mojo, who said that? It's BRILLIANT. And SPOT ON...
This is a very intelligent statement.
well Johnny Mathis is about .0000000000001 % away from being legally a woman! lol
