They don't have to get a job ifthey are smart. They are garunteed a small buisness loan regardless of credit and don't have to pay taxes for " I think " 6 years. Gas Station are considerd a small buisness and make a lot of money. Thats why you see so many forieners in them. This is for real, not trying to sterio type. I personaly know people who have done it.

If you do not have command of the English language, it would be good to get a temporary permit and apply to a community college in the area you wish to attend, the US government sets aside funds to cover your classes.
Determine what you can do, determine what kind of work environment you need to be able to do what you do, and then put a resume together with the help of someone that is fluent in English.
Damn it really depends on where you are from, what your skills are in, and where you want to go. The reason is that there are various programs set up to accomodate people from various parts of the world.
If you are diseased, jobless, uneducated, a criminal and you float up to our coast, our government will had you anything you want on a silver platter. If you are educated, skilled, intelligent, hard working and you apply to work here, it will never happen.
