political : INCOME, CONSUMPTION, OR PROPERTY TAX?

If we had to choose only one type of tax, to support our goverment, which would you choose? Income tax (and state tax where applicable), consumption tax (like VAT some countries pay) or property tax(let the landowner pay- since they are protected by the goverment infrastructure)

The government should print its own money when It needs to. It functions as an indirect tax because it causes inflation and every dollar is devalued by the same amount. The tax would be directly proportional to assets.

Income is probably the fairest, assuming that it addressed *all* income and not just that from wages.

Even so, a progressive structure would be the most "fair."

An import tax is the only tax that government needs. It would be needed to support the military and their needs. The property tax is unfair because a mans property is his castle and he should own it outright, lock, stock and barrell. The government is huge and has grown far beyond the restraints of the constitution and the only way to bring its size back within the restraints of the constitution is to cut off its massive (theft) oops, I mean funding.The Government is run by a bunch of overbearing, brain dead assholes who wouldnt know honesty if it walked up behind them and kicked them in the ass, so why give them any funding. 99% of all government jobs should either be privatized or eliminated. The LIBERTARIAN party at LP.ORG has some of the best ideas ever put before these idiots in government, yet the government continues to ignore these ideas of tax savings and smaller government and they continue to waste our hard earned dollars and piss on our constitution and bill of rights. The only other tax that I would gladly give government would be a tiny boot tax. One penny for each time that they allow the taxpayer to put a boot right up their asses.
