This ballot is not valid. None of us are God, therefore this is not a decision for us to make.
by jappy on Fri Jul 23, 04 7:12pm [+]

Well, its a what if ballot so anything could be possible :) I would prioritize Justice because even though I won't get that much support from not being compassionate, it would prevent some evil from bad people who use mercy to their advantage.
by xxxxxxxx on Sat Jul 24, 04 4:35am [+]

If I were God, I wouldn't prioritize either. I would ignore humans. They bore me.
by zorra on Sat Jul 24, 04 8:46am [+]

zorra. You really need to grow up. If you really find humans boring then don't come on this website. If you stay on this website then you are admitting that you need "human interaction", as some humans without a proper language call it.
by cretin_slap on Mon Jul 26, 04 5:05am [+]

Cretin_slap, you're right. I don't really find people boring, even though I wrote it without thinking (though I meant the previous part about prioritizing). However, I do find that most humans tend to do boring things when offline and often even when they're online. Bestandworst.com is, IMO, one of the more interesting websites out there. It's also a way for me to attempt to understand more "normal" people (if people online can be called "normal") and to gauge their responses. Of course, my idea of boring might differ somewhat from most people's.
by zorra on Mon Jul 26, 04 7:52am [+]

zorra. You would understand people better by having a face to face conversation. That is the way we are supposed to do it. Look into people's eyes. You know. Don't avoid people 'cos when you want to come back everyone will hate you.
by cretin_slap on Mon Jul 26, 04 10:35am [+]

cs: Maybe ... but what works for one isn't always the best route for another. Example: An introvert may not prefer the face-to-face route as a primary one.
by Cathexis on Mon Jul 26, 04 4:22pm [+]

cretin_slap: I do have face-to-face conversations (at least twice a week because of a club I belong to). I have eye contact when I talk to them, and I just see eyes. Of course, sometimes there are expressions like happiness, amusement, or fatigue, but they're still just eyes. I don't go out of my way to avoid people, but I don't go out of my way to meet them, either.
by zorra on Mon Jul 26, 04 7:53pm [+]

Shouldn't your website be called Indifferent to Humans - The Blog, then?
by cretin_slap on Tue Jul 27, 04 10:08am [+]

Yes, but "I Hate Humans - the Blog" has more shock value.
by zorra on Tue Jul 27, 04 11:43am [+]

You're right, there :)
by cretin_slap on Tue Jul 27, 04 12:19pm [+]

Hahaha funny cretin_slap and zorra..... I don't have a clue what you were saying though..
I believe god should go for justice more, stuff mercy there are too many bad people in the world who need to be punished in the afterlife for the crimes they have done. I hope they get what they deserve... (which is to burn in hell)

My concept of That Which IS is kind of like the Force from Star Wars-- it surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the universe together. By that logic, I *am* God, and I prioritize mercy in my personal life. But I believe That Which IS, as a whole, does not intervene with the inner workings of its parts, and if I were suddenly to become subsumed and experience the whole, I would probably maintain this policy of non-intervention.
by mc_unimportant on Sun Nov 07, 04 8:36pm [+]

Mercy, I think. As the architect of all, how could I let myself off the hook in a just universe? Obviously, mercy would be for myself as well as for all my creation.
by xxxxxxxx on Fri Mar 04, 05 11:13am [+]

That which is GOD is superintelligent and understands all things, of course.. IT does not 'judge' or 'punish' anything or anyone.. Everything is understandable when you have all the facts.. People are "guilty" of various things yet, they are not always entirely responsible for all the things that they do..
If there happens to be an "afterlife" the "very bad" should be only "snuffed out", not 'punished forever', which is illogical.. No One is 'punished forever', that would be barbaric..
On the other hand, perhaps an 'afterlife' is no more than wishful thinking..
