A long time ago some company used to sell a vacuum cleaner attachment called 'The FloBee'. The idea was to have a haircut while all the cut hair got sucked into the vacuum. It was even spoofed in the movie: "Wayne's World".

It's just as I described: a vacuum cleaner attachment designed to cut hair. It looked horrifying.
