I have seen more than that and I kept on the plane. I think you're doomed to a life of inconvenience if you make decisions like that. Good question.

I think Savage is very entertaining, but he'd never be able to fly to half of the planet, were he to take his own advice. Besides, the latest report's that al-Qaeda & the rest are specifically attempting to recruit non-Arabs as agents, in other words, more "Taliban Johnny" types. So, quite honestly, they could find half a dozen German converts, make them look like Mormon missionaries, and stick them on board, and you'd still be sitting in the plane, oblivious to what was about to happen, if you were only using the "Arab on board" criteria. Plus, there are plenty of lunatics in Indonesia or Malaysia, or the Philippines, who wouldn't look remotely fit the description and could still be just as jihad happy. The point's this: you could no more tell who was an Islamist terrorist on board a plane just by looking at them, than you could have detected communist agents back in the 1970's by looking for types who resembled Boris and Natasha from the Bullwinkle cartoons. This is/was because: (a) both movements are truly international in scope; and (b) the *good* agents won't look like agents.
Okay buddy, how much more racist do you have to be, just say you hate the Middle East, it's people and surrounding countries, and then this ballot will be a valid racist hatred spewing.
I listen to the same show, and he's right. I the airlines won't racially profile then we must, pc has no bearing when you life is on the line
Unfortunately, the law sees things differently. The airlines would be sued out of existence from one civil suit after another and various federal civil rights penalties if all the other passengers were allowed to act as vigilantes. Besides, you don't seriously think every Arab's a terrorist, do you? I say be brutal with the actual terrorists and be proactive in finding them, but be careful not to use a machine gun approach that victimizes innocent parties and may drive them into the terrorist camp out of indignation with your behavior.
So if the next terrorist attack is committed by caucasians, what does that say about racial profiling???????
Furthermore, it's not always so easy to say, tell the features of an Indian person apart from the features of an Iranian. My uncle, for example, has NO relatives from the middle east, (mostly from Romania), and somehow he came out looking like he wouldn't be out of place in Iraq. Go figure.
man
I am not a zenophobe and this is not a racist ballot. What this ballot is about is how safe people feel flying on airplanes in a post 9/11 world.I'm not suggesting that we as Americans should be afraid of Middle Eastern looking men.All I'm asking is do you agree with Michael Savage's personal racial profiling technique and would you apply it in your life.
5 Arabs wouldn't scare me, infect i would be more worrried with 5 babies on board than anyhting else, those little infants never shut up.
My baker is from Lebannon.Such a nice people. They don't bother me a bit.You gotta do what you gotta do I have nothing against his decision. But personally I wouldn't do that.I don't like East Indians though.
German custom police will let all the car pass by the border with switzerland except italian cars. They will ask documents only for the italian car among tens and tens of german and swiss cars. They think this is a clever behaviour to check potential criminals (truth is, is a good behaviour to let their notorious racism against italians to run free). If I were a criminal I would get some rental german car or buy a car with a german plate and I would pass unnoticed. Or, I would ask my swiss g/f to bring marjuana or whatever for me (you, swiss marjuana is the best in the world they say, and it's legal there)- She look and she is so nice that she brought weed out of swizterland even on the trains checked by dogs- So much for the 'racial profile'.
