Wow! That's a good question. It wasn't that long ago when you could download just about any mp3 you wanted from any number of mp3 sites. I certainly couldn't complain what with a CD costing 18 bucks that had just a few songs you actually liked. I can the the artist's point of view too though. The recording companies rip them off bad enough, so alot of them (artists) don't like the idea of their music freely availible. I have to think about this one some more.
I still remember taping off the radio onto a cassette tape !!!!

actually, qui_qui, when tape recorders were first introduced to the public, the RIAA tried to have them outlawed.
The Canadian government ruled that it's no different than going to a library and photocoping a book.
I say yes.
It's not so much the artists that are losing money, it's the recording labels that are leeching off the artists.
meh I never buy music. I don't think a bunch of musicians really deserve my money. They want money they can find a real job that actually contributes to society.
