Yeah they should. I love seeing these idiots on cruisers with the bandanas and open faced helmets even. They would all probably be wearing a full face helmet is they saw what a collision can do to someones unprotected head.
I agree with you totally.

while it is a good idea to wear one, it really should be personal choice. If laws have to be passed for everything that can maim you, you should be riding convertibles with helmets, skydiving should be outlawed, every bicycle should sell with training wheels, every swimmers should wear life vests and shark repellant (even in community pools)... Yes, I know what collision can do to a motorcyclists, helmet or not, and Yes, I have been riding motorcycles since I was 17. Hey grapost, let me know which state you live in.

What I find amazing is the number of people who ride like idiots wearing cutoffs, a tank top and flip flops thinking that their full face helmet is going to save them in a wreck. Yes it will save you face for your open casket funeral. Ride safe.
Those are what you call squids. Stupid, Quick, Underdressed, Imminently, Dead
By all means, if you're not required to wear a helmet, go ahead and ride free, feel the wind on your face. You won't have a chance to regret it once your brain pops out of your head like a walnut.
Not wearing helmets increases organ donations.
It's insane Grapost, I agree with you totally.
