The drug war includes: bigotry/racism, poverty, Christian zealotry, the quiet and lucrative Prison Industrial Complex; drug war itself destroys more families than the drugs.
Poverty, drugs, narcs, street crime and other domestic crime is the most dangerous thing and most un-just.
I would add: voter apathy, in all Western countries. We preach about how great and free our nations are, but hardly ever bother to show up to vote, because politicans are self-serving anyway!
