Sorry about your friend.I would just go bald but being a man that seems to be more acceptable,as for a woman ,seems you can always tell it's a wig,if she's not comfortable bald I would say a hat or head wrap.But tell her it's not the hair that makes her who she is
Actually, some of the wigs are very convincing these days. A close female friend of mine lost her hair due to chemotherapy and chose to wear a wig. One of her friends commented on how good her hair looked. My friend thought she was taking the piss!
Wigs might be obvious, but at least she can go around with all sorts of different hairstyles, you know, the ones you always wanted 'cuz you never had? I guess it might not be that much fun in that situation, but I think you should try to make it fun for her and get one, too.
