COMMENTS:
Futurama was always funny and The Simpsons become a completely unfunny shadow of its' former self. At least Futurama will now never grow old and wither away. It will be evergreen and live on like Fawlty Towers. Would you want to hear Zoidberg unsubtly put down the French or Fry act totally out of character to fit in another lame gag or film reference? I think it is tragic what happened to The Simpsons. Be thankful.
Fox screwed Family Guy by moving it around in it's line up so many times and Futurama was on Sundays at 7PM and was always preempted by NFL coverage. It's a shame they were cancelled. At least we have the reruns on Cartoon Network and DVD. Look out Sunday night 11/9 at 11PM. Cartoon Network is supposed to show the first airing of the banned Family Guy episode "When you wish upon a Weinstein" (same day as the "big jew in the sky" planet formation).

I pretty much agree with everyone. The Simpsons used to be funny. I think they should have ended it years ago. Family Guy is absolutely hilarious. Futurama was funny too. There have been so many short lived but funny cartoons. Ren and Stimpy comes to mind.
Anyway the Simpsons are old they had their run and they need to end it.
