Dearest Tad's, I saw on the news, that Charlie will be blowing ashore in Tampa by the weekend... Right over my Italian friends head in Key West, too... I've been through Blizzards, Fires, Tornado's, Earthquakes and Floods, but never a hurricane. Could you please tie yourself to a clothes line poll with a mini cam strapped to your forehead?! I will dedicate my weekend to observe the affects of the natural disaster. unfortunately, I'm much to far away to participate. Yes, you can have one of those funny hats that holds drinks and has two straws that lead to your mouth... well, as long as it doesn't interfere with my reception!

Mo I'm way ahead of you. I've already planned to strap myself down in the hammock out back so I should be able to get some pretty good footage. Someone is going to have to find a way to strap down the chicken wings though!
Hammock... No spinning action, I get motion sickness! I guess I have some left over dramanine from my cruise.

Stay safe Tadema, and have fun at the hurricane party - but I hope it'll be in a solid concrete structure! I'm kinda jealous. Approaching hurricanes are quite exciting...just not if they actually hit. :)
Oh it happens all the time. This one is just a catagory one. No biggie. Just an excuse to leave work early and party. Now believe me, if a three were to come through, my bottom would be heading to Orlando. (to continue the party there!) Mojo.shhhh..don't turn on the news for a few days. :)
I remember them in South Texas, and I loved 'em until the power went out. Have lots of fun whether there or in Orlando, and be sure to have that party ANYWAY! ;oD
Me and you both, Tads. I'll bring the first aid and the mattress. I may need to borrow a dry pair of your pants, though. I am so scared of hurricanes it isn't even funny. Maybe south Florida just wasn't the best place for me to move to...
I can't believe no-one has mentioned the two things ESSENTIAL to a hurricane party - a hurricane and a party. Furthermore, they must be simultaneous. Otherwise, it's just a hurricane OR a party. That's okay, though, especially the latter.
Tadema, Florida isnt out of the woods yet. Ivan's a commin to Florida, but where it's going, who knows? Can I get in on those supplies?
