Just because two people want to have some special relationship doesn't mean it should be recognized aas anything by the government.
As long as all the people involved agree with it, there's nothing wrong with it.
This isn't going well, I'd hoped for some arguments. Someone has to be vehemently opposed to this, feel free to chime in.
I'm opposed to this. By them legalizing gay marriages we should be able to get married to as many people as we want, one is no more as wrong as the other. We should also be able to marry our sexy 2nd cousin, everything that you can think of should go. No but seriously before christianity even begin people always had more than one wife. I heard alot of different Native American tribes were into polyandry, I personally don't like the idea of polyandry, but there shouldn't be a problem with it though. I think I'm about to call my cousin over right now.

I personally don't think the government has any business determining who can marry whom.
But, for the sake of argument, here is one reason for keeping it illegal - Certain religions have used it in such a way that women have very little choice about who they marry and they basically become glorified servants and sex slaves. Keeping polygamy illegal helps crack down on this.
