I'm mixed myself but would only consider breeding with certain races. Everyone will be designed in another hundred years or so.

This is a very interesting point. Racism could in fact greatly decrease if practically everyone started interbreeding. They would learn to appreciate the other race and stop hating each other as much. There still will be a mixture of races because of genetics but everybody could be more similar to each other given time due to more people being mixed.
I really wouldn't care about race though if I was going to breed. As long as its a good person that I could associate with, I really don't care if she's white, black, asian, etc.
This interbreeding should be encouraged but it shouldn't be against anybody's will.

Neither do I unless the mother drank alcohol during pregnancy, did drugs during pregnancy or did anything else unrecommended during pregnancy.
Inbreeding refers to breeding between related individuals not individuals within a species or race.
Inbreeding causes defects because it increases the chances of reinforcing a harmful recessive gene. If you mate with someone totally unrelated your genes are completely random and chances are you'll both have harmful recessive genes, but they'll be cancelled out by each others dominant genes. If you mate with someone closely related to you you'll have more genes in common and the chances of having two identical recessive genes increases dramtically. This is highschool level biology here, nothing difficult.

I don't think people are trying to "preserve" their heritage when they date within their race.I think people just feel more comfortable dating within their race because they feel that the other person shares a common culture,belief system etc.Also there is no such thing as a "pure" race person.Somewhere in your family tree someone has to be from another race or ethic group.Remember your brain might want you too only date one race but your d!ck is colorblind!

The Egyptians certainly had an 'advanced' civilisation, if barbaric by our standards, thousands of years ago as did the Babylonians and others. The Orientals have much to be proud of, technological and cultural advances centuries or millennia ahead of the rest of the world. Northern civilisations were highly developed culturally and technologically thousands of years ago and slowly advanced despite sub-arctic climate and ice ages.

Yeah, people of the same races all carry similar genes. which is why white people stay white in white families or other. you never hear of two white people having a black baby?! those genes are the same ones that eventually cause defects like in inbreeding. i live in a country where practically everyone is mixed, but there is still some racial tension, and even among the many many mixed people there is a preference for a lighter skin colour, there are black/chinese, mixes, indian/white(me) black/white,chinese/white, and then there are those who dont know what the hell they are because both parents are mixed through several generations, its a headache,and i sometimes would like to know what it feels like to belong.
