The 3rd option but not like we or the Europeans do it.
I'm not pro socialism, but capitalism unchecked produces a big fat mess.
Capitalism with some checks is the best. The market economy is the best, no question.
I also enjoy Arby's roast beef with chedder, it's brilliant.
capitalism unchecked would lead to people starving in the streets, while billionaires drive by in their bentleys
Capitalism by itself is impossible.
capitalism sets up a class society, very rich and very poor....come to think of it.......
I agree with couchgnome. A truly free market capitalist system with no checks and balances could lead to some disastrous outcomes. Look at what is happening with US senior citizens, and the controversy over buying drugs from Canada. The major pharmaceutical companies are crying foul, even though they operate on both sides of the border. If they lowered the price in the USA a bit, there would be no controversy. Then again, pure socialism isn't good either, because that means the government basically controls the economy, or at least the means of production and the distribution and exchange of goods and services. If we have capitalism by itself, we might have societies like Luxembourg, Monte Carlo, Bermuda, Cayman Islands and so forth, where the rich live.
Capitalism is the result of complete freedom... it doesn't breed it.
Capitalism with checks and balances and a non elitist government without the interference of Jewish special interest groups is best.
"I'm not pro socialism, but capitalism unchecked produces a big fat mess." - lowerclassbrats It also seems to credit only the one with a big fat ass. In the long run, Caitalism fails and the country is weakened, and the people are screwed over unnecessarily.
