Apparently the U.S has tried to give the Cuban Government money for "leasing" the land but the government says there is no lease.
Total hypocrisy. At least let the Cubans have a reciprocal naval base in Florida, fair's fair.
They had it before Castro took power and it is still there because it is a big part of the Cuban economy.
