50% of our budget is wasted on social welfare programs, there's the socialism. The tax cuts Bush gave applied to everyone. Don't be a fool, study the facts. If 1/3 of the money spent of wasteful social welfare programs were just given to the poor, we could eliminate poverty in this country.
Yep conservatives are nazis. Let's look at some ideology the two have in common: removal of weapons from the hands of private citizens, massive social and welfare projects, limitations on freedom of speech, redefining races for their own personal benefit, massive government expansion, etc. Yep, bunch of nazis. Wait, that sounds more like democrats to me, uh oh.

Your right. In a country as rich as the USA we shouldn't need social welfare. But take it away and see what happens. Do you want a bunch of well-armed, pissed off crack heads looking for money. I know plenty of poor people. I know very few outside of my family. They can work but they don't have to work to surivive so they don't. Take away welfare and people will be forced to work. Keep about 25% of the current welfare budget for people who actually use it the right way, as a temporary support. Screw this pay me or I'll riot crap, if they riot I'll be ready with a shotgun. Families can take care of each other, leave my money alone.

It seems my point has become a little lst in the rush to defend 'family values' and other such nonsense, spouted by the so called 'compassionate conservatives'
My point to those who dont think that some on the conservative wing are all for the very things they accuse socialists of.
Reduced personal liberties, the right to enter your house on a pretext of 'terrorism' and the right to examine your medical records.
Had any politician introduced these policies, the 'conservatives' would be up in arms (literally in some cases) citing them as an infringement of their constitutional rights.
The majority ofthe conservative supporters dont mind stepping on others rights when it suits them, but heaven forfend if we ever infringe on theirs (Gun control etc).
Its good to see the double standard flying high in thehearts of so many 'patriotic' Americans.
