Actually, I do believe in the private organization argument. The problem with that is, boy scout acts like a charity organization. If they get goverment assistance, and acts in a quasi-goverment sanctioned state, they should allow gays. In short, they shouldn't be allowed to have their cake and eat it too. Either allow gays, or admit that they are a private organization and be prevented from being promoted in schools, public parks, etc.
