COMMENTS:
They enjoy a different set of rules.
They should have it worse that regular criminals. And even they have a better basic cable package than I do.
They should all be forced to work 45hr weeks. If they refuse then the death penality could be used.
Right on, the bigger they rise, the harder they should fall.
Recently, in the UK, there was a judge, DAVID SELWOOD OF PORTSMOUTH, who regularly judged child abuse / child pornography cases. Most of the people who were found guilty, he quite rightly sent to prison, put on the paedophile register, tagged so they couldn't go near schools, etc.... Then HE was found guilty of having downloaded vast quantities of child pornography. Because he was a RESPECTED member of society, the EMBARRASSMENT was considered sufficient punishment for him. He lost his position as a judge too but he was in his 60s and intending to retire very soon anyway. So, if you're rich, you are EMBARRASSED and lose a job you were going to leave anyway. If you're poor, you go to jail and get the SHIT beaten out of you DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY....
I say if your rich and you don't want to be raped in prison by all the poor men you fired that turned to a life of crime to feed their families then don't commit a crime. The rich are in a postion of power it's only right that we hold them to a higher standard of accountability.
For the most part justice should be the same for everyone. Rich or poor: same prison treatment etc There are exceptions, a £5000 fine might be a lot to a poor guy, but a rich man might just pay it and carry on as normal, not learning his lesson, which is what justice is meant to do. So fine's should be relative to one's wealth, but imprisonment, I feel, should be the same to all.
